            Because of the polyacrylamide polymer compound water soluble acyl and its main chain and lively, is widely used in oil extraction, water treatment, textile printing and dyeing, paper making, mineral processing, coal washing, medicine, sugar, aquaculture, building materials, agriculture and other industries and thus, "100 industry agent" and "universal products".


    1 field of water treatment
            The application of Polyacrylamide in water treatment industry mainly includes 3 aspects: raw water treatment, sewage treatment and industrial water treatment. In the treatment of raw water, polyacrylamide and activated carbon are used in combination, which can be used for coagulation and clarification of suspended particles in living water; in sewage treatment. Polyacrylamide can be used for sludge dehydration, and polyacrylamide is used as a formulation agent in industrial water treatment. In the raw water treatment, the organic flocculant polyacrylamide is used instead of the inorganic flocculant, and the water purification capacity can be increased by more than 20% even if the sedimentation tank is not reformed. Therefore, polyacrylamide is used as a supplement in many large and medium cities at present when the water supply is tight or the water quality is poor. In the treatment of sewage, the use of polyacrylamide can increase the utilization rate of water recycling cycle.


    2 oil and oil production field
            In oil, polyacrylamide is mainly used for drilling mud material and oil production rate increase, widely used in drilling, completion, cementing, fracturing, enhanced oil recovery operations such as oil exploration, with increasing viscosity, filtration, flow regulation, cementing, diversion, profile adjustment and other functions. At present, the oil field exploitation in China has entered the middle and late period. In order to improve the oil recovery, the polymer flooding and the three element composite oil displacement technology have been popularized. By injecting polyacrylamide water solution, the speed ratio of oil flow can be improved and the oil content of the extracted product is improved. At present, there are not many applications of Polyacrylamide in oilfields. Due to the special geological conditions, polymer flooding technology has been widely applied in Daqing oilfield and Shengli Oilfield.

    3 paper field
            Polyacrylamide is widely used as a resident agent, a filter aid and a homogeneous agent in the paper making field. Its role is to improve the quality of paper, improve the dehydration performance of pulp, improve the retention rate of fines and fillers, reduce raw material consumption and environmental pollution. The effect of polyacrylamide on papermaking depends on its average molecular weight, ionic properties, ionic strength and the activity of other copolymers. Nonionic polyacrylamide is mainly used to improve the filter paper pulp, increase dry paper strength, improve the fiber and filler retention; anionic copolymer is mainly used for dry and wet paper reinforcing agent and resident agent; cationic copolymer is mainly used for papermaking wastewater treatment and filtration are used, in addition to improve the filler retention rate are also good effect. In addition, polyacrylamide should also be used in papermaking wastewater treatment and fiber recovery.

    4 textile printing and dyeing industry
            In the textile industry, polyacrylamide, as the sizing agent and finishing agent for the post treatment of the fabric, can produce a protective layer of compliant, wrinkled and mould resistant. With its strong hygroscopic characteristics, can reduce the time of spinning yarn break rate; polyacrylamide as postprocessing agent can prevent static and flame retardant fabrics; used as auxiliaries, PAM can make the product attached fastness, bright and high, but also can be used as a bleaching of non silicone polymer stabilizers; moreover, polyacrylamide can also for textile printing and dyeing wastewater purification efficiency.

    5 other areas
            In the field of mining, coal washing, settlement by polyacrylamide ulants to promote mining, coal washing water recycling solids, make the water clear, and recycling of useful solid particles, to avoid pollution to the environment; in the sugar industry, PAM can accelerate the juice in the fine particles sink, promote filtering and improve filtrate clarity; in the breeding industry, PAM can improve water quality, increase the light transmittance of water, thereby improving water photosynthesis; in the pharmaceutical industry, polyacrylamide flocculants used for separation of antibiotics used for the Fu type adhesive tablet and process water clarifying agent; in building materials industry, polyacrylamide is used as thickening agent, coating stone sawing coolant and ceramic bonding agent; in agriculture, polyacrylamide superabsorbent materials can be used as Soil moisturizer and seed culture agent. In the construction industry, polyacrylamide can enhance the hardness of gypsum cement and speed up the dehydration of asbestos cement.
